Cipher Key Lair

The Cipher Key Lair is a location in Pokémon XD. The Cipher Key Lair is a factory used by Cipher to produce Shadow Pokémon. The machinery in the factory is able to continuously produce Shadow Pokémon at a faster rate than the old method used in Pokémon Colosseum. It is led by Cipher Admin Gorigan. When the player first reaches the factory, the entrance is blocked by two Bodybuilders and guarded by Zook, who battles the player. The factory's interior can only be accessed after the player has recovered their stolen Snag Machine and defeated Zook for a second time. The Cipher Key Lair is a large pyramid-shaped building surrounded by a lake of purple-tinted water. A long concrete path with a large circular concrete platform connects from the entrance of the Lair to the mainland.
