Faraway place

A faraway place is a location placeholder found in the core series games, first used in the Generation IV games. This placeholder data is used when a Pokémon is traded from a newer Pokémon game to an older game if the met location is not present in the older game. A faraway place has also occasionally used as a met location for event Pokémon (specifically, Nobunaga's Black Rayquaza and Shiny Meltan), and has no corresponding location in any game. The mainland Chinese release of Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! also displays all event Pokémon met locations except " Poké Ball Plus " as a "faraway place".
