Route 32

Route 32 begins with a small path leading away from Violet City, which splits into two. One path leads west, to the eastern entrance of the Ruins of Alph. The other path leads south to the rest of Route 32. The player cannot continue south of the intersection until they have obtained the Egg from Professor Elm's aide in Violet City. The southern path begins with two large hills separated by a ledge. Going around the southern edge of the second hill will bring players to a cuttable tree on its western side, behind which is a path leading to a man who will give the player TM05 (Roar). From there, the path continues south, where it splits around another hill. The western path leads through tall grass, while the eastern path leads past a Trainer.
